Cultural differences

I was working here in UAE, specifically in Dubai, I was hired in one of the biggest logistics company here in the emirates. From the time i was hired, i was introduced to one of the office staff, he was an Indian, the first time i knew that there is something in Him that i feel that this meeting will not be ended in to freindship. I called Him Danzy,he was the one who teached me everything about worked,everytime were in the office, i always feel happy with him. We usually talked about our personnal information, both of us dont have anny commitment. He told because of their culture he has to marry, a girl with the same nationality, i was feel so bad that time, i want to tell him that he was so specialto me, but i cannot do anything about it. I thought i accepted everything but i was wrong, before we become close he told me that time will come that he needs to follow the culture. At first we didnt think that time to come. We become close more than freinds. We used to go out every weekend, spending the time together. But oneday, he told me that his family found a girl to be his wife, I was shocked that time, and tears just dropped my eyes and i was so speechless. I tried to stop him, but because of that situation he needs to follow his family and the same time his culture.The day has come for him to leave me, i cant say anything, only tears came from my eyes, i hug him goodbye and up to this point im still asking myself why me?, why i am the one who experience this kind of situation, its too hard to accept and to cope it up. Before he leave he told me that I will always in his heart and i will always be special to him, sometimes i asked my self why cultural differences plays an issue for two hearts that are loving to each other.......
