Hearts and Minds beating as one
Love and friendship, hand in hand,
Thoughts and hopes. as we go together,
Different roads and paths we do take.

Like the clouds, unsettled and turbulent
Never Knowing which way to turn,
My Thoughts drift to love and loved ones, past and present,
Our bond, like a mother with her newborn

Our minds thinking in harmony
Our feelings of love we once shared
Smiling with happy memories
Wiping away the lone tear on my cheek
As my thoughts drift back to happy times

Lost Love is sad, like the weeping willow
As my head falls with despair
Yet, my thoughts of the past do uplift me
Like new life reaching to the sun
