Brian G. WebringIn the dark of midnight
I hear the whispers of your name,
See your face in the hidden shadows
transforming my mind...
but I'm still all alone in pain.
So real
but never true
Sometimes I feel
I'm lying there with you.
So close I feel your warmth
your every breath is like a torch
Enflamed in a magical bliss
craving your gentle kiss
As I touch you, ever so softly,
red hot fever spread throughout your body.
Then I wake up and realize
that it's all fake and simply lies
And as the tears fill up my eyes
millions of invisible thorns pierce me inside.
So real
but never true
Sometimes I feel
I'm lying there with you.
