My soul was complete
Soaring through a sky of dreams and happiness like a cloud
Now my soul is in turmoil
My soul has turned dark like a storm
The raindrops are my tears of pain
...Today my world turned upside-down

My life was a rose
It grew proudly from a hope-filled ground
But my beautiful sun has now left
Without its light and love- my rose has died
...The day my world turned upside-down

My love was everlasting
You meant and said so much to me without making a sound
Now you're gone and my heart is crying
I loved you more than anything- but it wasn't enough
...Today my world turned upside-down
