Yesterday
You ignited my sky
When we spoke
Of the time gone by

You said
I'm the voice of the wind
When I visit
For your thoughts, a silent thunder;
I'm the length of your days
When you miss me,
Like to the sky, the clouds
Swirling around,
To you I'm the glimmer
From the moon going under

Do you remember when
I covered you
With a blanketful of kisses?
You kissed me too,
So tenderly you kissed me
And said
To your heart I found a secret route
Even though when I speak, my voice
Always goes mute.

Yes...
We also kissed at the stop
Of each red semaphore light
As I drove you home--
You held my hand tight

...never asked for promises,
Did not wish to be awakened by pain
Time sometimes creates obstacles
Leaves the heart stained.

Since you left
I built a well secured wall,
But if you watch closely you'll find
A flicker of my feminine soul.
