i shed not a tear when my world fell apart
as i watched it fall- piece by piece
i shed not a tear from my heavy heart
i just wanted the pain to cease

i shed not a tear when summer took its last breath
for autumn was soon to begin
i shed not a tear when wishing for death
...but i shed a tear for him

i shed not a tear when i was depressed
when all i saw was grey
i shed not a tear when my anger suppressed
not a word i wanted to say

i shed not a tear while lost in the dark
for light would soon begin
i shed not a tear when the world left its mark
...but i shed a tear for him
