The way you make me feel when we're alone
The countless hours we spend on the phone
The anticipation of seeing you tomorrow
Holding you close in times of sorrow

Making my coffee several hours in advance
Catching a naughtly glimpse of you, by chance
Late night strolls to Pick N' Save for Ice Cream
The butterflies I get in my stomach when I daydream

The night I fell upon your bathroom floor
How quick you were to throw my bag outside the door
Taking CoCo for his evening walk
All of those hours that passed when we didn't talk

Going to bed without a goodnight kiss
All of those evenings - I will not miss
Life is too short for us to fight
Let's not take for granted - What's holding us tight!
