In my dreams
we soared to the stars
then fell to earth as we looked
into each others eyes.

Our earthbound fates,
are separated, not by choice
but by time,
yet, never

(never)

in our hearts,
where the strings of life
bind in intricate patterns
our souls in the sun.

Demanding mistress,
this goddess of terra,
who clutches our feet tightly
to keep us where we are,
barely touching fingertips,
yet, our gaze into each other's eyes
will free us with
every silvered liquid drop
that fills the seas surrounding
her lands.

There I will be forever bound
with you
because you are always
with me.

Your voice,
your touch
gives me new hopes

and dreams--

there are always the dreams.
