BLUE RAIN

I found eyes
That match the sky
And freedom to feel
The exhilaration--
He came into my life
Like a breath of fresh air
Suddenly
On a mountain hill
I heard a song
With a simple melody
Like a distant violin,
Then I felt--
His voice-- vague
Like a whisper
Asking
"Are we here to stay?
Tell me if we are."
The rain came quietly
Without a warning
Cold drops, touching
Our faces
With newfound hope.
I found eyes
That match the sky
And freedom to feel

The color was blue.
He came into my life
Like a breath of fresh air
Suddenly

Where wild horses run.
I heard a song
With a simple melody
Like a distant violin,
Then I felt--
The inspiration.
His voice-- vague
Like a whisper
Asking
"Are we here to stay?
Tell me if we are."
The rain came quietly
