You think it lasts forever
But it never does
Something happens
A fight
A move
A marriage
A funeral
No matter what the reason is
It never lasts forever
But you won’t ever forget that person
You may have been like sisters or brothers since birth
You may have only met a few years ago
It doesn’t matter
Whatever you do cherish it forever
Cause life never guarantees it will last as long as you wanted.
So take the moments of hurt and replace them with the time you spent laughing on the floor about a simple “that’s what she said” joke.
Replace the anger with the caringness the person left behind
Replace the pain with memories of laughter
They’ll get you through the bad
Just remember to enjoy it for as long as you can
Because sooner or later………… it will end.
